Happy new year!! We are pleased to announce the first power hour workshop (lead by the one and only Wade Green) of 2019! Come out and experience a dynamic workshop! (Don’t forget to tell and bring a friend!)

This Power Hour workshop will focus on:

  • Producing meaning in real space and token space
  • Developing techniques for keeping space consistent
  • Strategies to employ when spatial relations change
  • Creating visual space in your English-to-ASL interpretations and making it meaningful

Meet the Presenter

Wade Green is a deaf and passionate dancer of 15 years. He is a graduate of Gallaudet University and soon-to-be graduate of Howard University. Wade has studied dance from noteworthy studios, such as the Alvin Aliey Dance Company and the Dance Theater of Harlem; and, has been involved with the Washington and Richmond schools of Ballet. He is currently collaborating with the Wild Zappers and The Dynamic Duo – a collaboration with his dance partner, Ameena Paterson.
